In collaboration with John Reif of Duke University and Nadrian Seeman of New York University, Niles Pierce and Erik Winfree of the Caltech DNA and Natural Algorithms group are studying the design and algorithmic self-assembly of DNA tiles with applications to patterning nanostructures.
